This past Saturday, our church hosted a little get together to celebrate the autumn season. As Christians, we don’t recognize “Halloween” as a holiday, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get together and enjoy the company of our Christian brothers and sisters – and eat candy. 🙂

We had a great time at the fellowship! We cooked hot dogs and hamburgers, played volleyball, bobbed for apples, watched the little ones jump in the bounce house and, of course, even the adults enjoyed the giant bags of candy that have become a tradition this time of year.

Here are a few photos of the event.

I think Lauren went a little overboard on the bobbing for apples! She got one, though! lol

Leslie was a bit more careful!

A-HA! She got it by the stem!
Good thinkin’ 😉
These boys enjoyed bobbing for apples, too! 🙂
I caught Laci mid-bounce inside the bounce house!
The smaller kids really liked it.
The boys played a little “basketball”. Later, they all played some tag football.
A little game of volleyball – the pine needles made for a “slippery” court!
The three-legged race was a hoot!
Lauren and her friend are a  blur!
The boys got a bit tangled up!
Lauren and Mary tie for first against the boys! Good job!!
My Mom was able to come down to visit us. Matthew enjoyed hanging out with her for the evening. Here he is sucking his thumb. *so sweet* 🙂
It was a great evening to just kick back and relax with God’s people.
