Writing is my first love. I don’t know why, but I have loved to write since I was a wee lass, back on the moors of Scotland. Okay, really it was in the suburbs of Little Rock, but close enough, right? Anyway, I’m sort of interested in E-books. Kindles and other digital readers seem to be the wave of our reading future. I’m not sure if they are just a fad or not, I suppose time will tell. I do know that purchasing e-books is much cheaper than buying a real book. (Sometimes they are free!) And it takes up zero space on your bookshelf. (I hate clutter.) It’s also easier to get an E-book published…at least I think it is. I’d like to learn more about it, hence I’m posting about this giveaway. If you’re interested in E-books, check out this cool giveaway.
What would I write about if I were to write an E book? I have no idea. But it really sounds like an exciting adventure, doesn’t it?

I truly *can* understand the appeal of Kindles, e-book etc….The convenience, as you said, the lack of clutter and the savings.
Call me old-fashioned, but I still prefer to read a book that I hold in my hand. I feel like I spend enough time in my life reading from screens. As much as I am thankful for e-mail I would still prefer a real 'snail-mail' letter. Words in a book seem more permanent and lasting.
But if the trend continues then I'm sure I will adapt. Thank you for letting me share my thoughts and feelings on the subject.(o:

I agree, Michele! My hubby and I love to read and I love, love, love having good books around me! It's like being surrounded by good friends all day. But, since I love writing, and highly doubt I'm talented enough to get published on real paper, I thought I'd look into this new-fangled digital book craze. 😉

Oh yes! My comment was coming from the standpoint of reading books, not writing them. I wasn't trying to rain on your idea of getting published via an e-book format. I am thankful that more people can be heard from through e-books instead of a publisher deciding who is worthy to be heard from. If I were you, I would try too! (o:
