My sweet Laci has long, wavy hair. All of us in the family have admired it, since we don’t have this added blessing. However, it was getting unruly and hard to manage, so we needed to trim it. I’ve only trimmed it one other time, and that was less than an inch. This time, I cut it a bit more. I view this as her first haircut in over six years! I just had to put it here in my “scrapbook”. ๐
ย Here are some “before” photos:
This is how much I cut off! It’s about six inches!
Here are some “after” photos:
I did a side-by-side comparison. {click to enlarge}
Lastly, here are some photos of it dry. I noticed it’s slightly crooked when dry! I guess the natural wave and bounce made it lopsided. Hopefully it’s not too noticeable in real life. ๐ย
Her shorter hair makes her look even more grown up. *sigh* But, it’s staying a lot neater during the day as she plays (her hair wouldn’t stay in a ponytail very well), and it’s easier to brush. She likes it, and so do I. ๐
aww it looks great. I am taking Abby for a big haircut on Friday.

My daughter was given a pair of therse as a “hand me down” and they are still in great shape.
I used to be against buying expensive shoes for my kids because they grow out ect ect.. but I found Sketchers to be worth the money. They really DO last.
On Thanksgiving Meijer (a store here) has buy one get one for a dollar sales.. I plan to buy all my kids sketchers that day!
Sorry your sketchers have to go lauren …they really are adorable
