In March of 2009, the Lord placed Proverbs 31 on my heart. I’d read many books on various Proverbs 31 ideals, seen several blogs devoted to becoming the virtuous woman, and in turn become overwhelmed at the prospect of  becoming such a lady! I decided to do my own study on this chapter. I’m no math whiz, but even I realized that I could study the chapter in a month by only reading and praying about one verse a day. It wasn’t hard to read it, but it was (and still is) a daunting task to live it. I’m still very much a work in progress!

This study is nothing fancy, nothing profound, but it is from my heart. If you, like me, are overwhelmed at reading Proverbs 31, if you’re plagued with doubts and discouraging thoughts, then I hope that my notes here might be an encouragement. Learning God’s ways takes a lifetime, and it can be a joyous life at that! Be not discouraged, God is our helper and strength and His children are our cheerleaders! I hope to cheer you on in this effort of being like Christ, and I hope you will do the same for me.
