She has been praying for God to send some kids to our church, and through VBS, He did!
We hosted our first ever Vacation Bible School Aug. 6-8. It was a big success! We had 25 kids come each of the three days.Since we don’t have many kids in our church, these were mostly new contacts and a great way to reach some families with the Gospel. It was a blessing to get to work together as a church on this endeavor. We saw 6 girls trust Christ as Savior during VBS, and that made it worth all the effort! We didn’t use a pre-packaged curriculum, Terry designed the theme, lessons, games – everything – himself. The theme was “Heaven Bound”. It was a great week! I am already looking forward to next year’s VBS.
